PINHOLE PHOTOGRAPHY USING NIKON PINHOLE CAMERA LENS BODY CAP
I am really interested in the creative effects of pinhole photography - I recently read an article in digital camera magazine which got me interested in trying out this classic camera technique.
To create a pinhole is a real simple process to achieve, all you need is a spare body cap to get you started. I found this great article on the internet giving you step by step instructions to make one, click here to check it out. Or if you haven't the time to follow the instructions then you can find body caps already prepared on eBay for less than a fiver.
So far I'm absolutely loving the look of the pinhole body cap, I really can't want to try the technique out on a portrait session especially either for an implied nude or boudoir shoot to create the fine art look....
All shots below were taken with the Nikon D4 camera body.
All the best, Gavin
A pinhole camera, a variation of Cameraobscura, is a simple camera without a lens and with a single small aperture, a pinhole – effectively a light-proof box with a small hole in one side. Light from a scene passes through this single point and projects an inverted image on the opposite side of the box.
